New York for theatre buffs

The theatre buff visiting New York often finds themselves in the Theatre District area of Midtown Manhattan. The Theatre District is home to most of the Broadway theatres as well as a range of other theatres including movie theatres and other places of entertainment. The area extends from the 40th Street to 54th Street and from west of Sixth Avenue to East of Eighth Avenue. The area also includes the famous Time Square which features some of the popular Broadway theatres, and this particular section of Broadway in the Midtown section of the New York City borough of Manhattan is nicknamed the Great White Way – a stretch of Broadway well known as the height of the great American theatre industry. For the theatre buff who wants to eat, breath and practically live ‘Broadway’ style, the Midtown area boasts plenty of accommodation options. Hotels in Midtown Manhattan truly understand the enthusiastic theatre goers and cater to meet their dramatic needs.  Lodging options range from luxury to budget accommodation and most hotels provide excellent amenities and facilities assuring you a comfortable stay. If luxury and comfort are your priorities try some of the high end hotels located close to the Great White Way. Whereas, for the complete Drama freak the Theatre District is dotted with cheap hotels offering arty lodging that literally open out into the local art scene.
